About
The Perry County Hometown Health Advocate Team (HHAT) provides a place for representatives of the local, state and federal agencies, local service providers, businesses, schools, not-for-profit organizations, and interested citizens to meet together to better coordinate and manage seeking funds from grant sources, as well as manage the funds and services to the citizens of the county. This system encourages coalition building and cooperation of the members and the services provided to those in Perry County.
Mission
To make Perry County the healthiest, physically, mentally emotionally spiritually, and in every way possible in the state of Arkansas, by coordinating services for the positive application and use by citizens.
Purpose
To focus on specific issues and subjects including fundraising, to assist the citizens of the community as individuals, families, and/or groups in the area(s) of interest(s) of the organization, agencies, and individuals in the coalition and to address the specific issue or need as identified and targeted though policy development and management.
